Youth Advocate and a progressive minded Sierra Leonean living in the United States of America, Ambassador Abu has in a video clip making rounds on social media, called on the Leader and Flagbearer of the All-People’s Congress (APC) party, Dr. Samura Mathew Wilson Kamara to publicly dissociate himself and his campaign affairs from the popular social media fake news trumpeter called Adebayor.
In his video addressed to Sierra Leoneans, but particularly emphasizing on Samura Kamara, Ambassador Abu said, “Dr. Samura, as an opposition Presidential aspirant for the June 24th 2023 elections, you have a duty as a man of the order, you have a soul duty to show what you stand for. You are very aware of what is going on in the country and how one of your known members, who has degraded demeaned, dismantled and destroyed the image of our Queens, our Princesses, our mothers, our sisters and daughters, and you know this individual very well, he is a known member of your political party.”
He said, it is a known fact that, “Adebayor is a member of the APC party” and for the past five years, Adebayor has been raining series of unending invectives on our Sierra Leonean women every single day.
Calling on Samura Kamara to denounce Adebayor, Ambassador Abu said, “it is your soul duty to publicly denounce and dissociate yourself from everything that has to do with Adebayor.”
He went further by saying, Dr. Samura has a responsibility to show the whole world that, he does not in any way condone the acts of disrespect to our mothers, our sisters, daughters, queens and our princesses of Sierra Leone.
“You should take every single step to make sure that Adebayor is not associated with the APC party, which you are currently leading. You should stand for something bigger and better and not anything like Adebayor,” Ambassador Abu said.
Mr. Abu referred to Adebayor as someone that has called for the death of Sierra Leonean mothers, sisters, daughters, aunts and security officers.
He ended by giving Dr. Samura Kamara a 24-hour ultimatum to publicly denounce and dissociate himself and the APC party from Adebayor, saying “as a leader, or someone who wants to lead millions of Sierra Leonean women and the country, you have to show an example that you are a leader who is ready to take on anybody or anything that brings disrespect to the nation, especially women, who are mothers of our nation.”
