A resident of Matai, Bombali District by the name of Sulaiman Kamara has been on the run since 2017 after an attempt on his life in the community for an act considered as abominable that was committed by him.
A notice by the Sierra Leone Police (SLP) indicates that Suliaman Kamara went missing sometimes in 2017.
According to sources very close to Sulaiman Kamara, he (Kamara) was born and raised in an Islamic home in the Matai Community which is a Muslim dominated community.
That Sulaiman was engaged in the act of homosexuality until he was seen by people who exposed him to the entire community of engaging in such a detested act in the community.
Investigation undertaken recently by the New Age Newspaper revealed that despite the fact that Sulaiman has been missing for more than 4yrs now, he is still a wanted person in his resident of Matai.
That there are people on the look for him just in case he is somewhere to be seen.
Some people in the community confirmed to the New Age that should he step feet in Matai, it will be the end of his life as he will pay the penalty for the abominable act he committed in their community.
